-High school life-

During my elementary years, many people would told me especially those who had already experienced that high school life was the best. I never thought that, because for me, elementary life was the best, but that was before when I was a kid. Now that I had grown up and became a high school student, I realized that they were right. High school life was indeed different from my life in elementary. When you reached high school, you became more mature and you’ll learn many things that you’ll never learn in elementary. Yes, that’s true.

Before, I thought that I had already learned many things in life but when I reached this point in my life, I realized how much I lacked knowledge in every field not only for education but also for personal things. I learned many things from my classmates, combined by bad and good things.

In high school, you’ll meet new set of friends although not the best of friends but at least they’re better than your friends before. You’ll start making stupid things also. Stupid things that would sometimes put you into trouble. You would have great moments/bonding with your friends. Sometimes, we chose the wrong person whom we thought was good for us, but we’re wrong because instead of making us a better person, they were the one who would led you to the wrong path and we called this as “bad influence”. But I believed that it just depends on the person whether she/he wanted his/her life to be miserable or not. You’ll be surrounded by people with different emotions, that’s why you have to learn on how to adjust in your environment. And speaking of emotions, when you reach high school you’ll be having different kinds of emotions/feelings especially “love”. I had seen so many friends crying because of love. It’s natural for teenagers to feel love, right? If you’d asked these people, they would say that it feels so nice to love and to be loved but it hurts so much to be brokenhearted. There are also people who just had a crush first like me; I don’t want to have that love because for me it’s just destruction instead of inspiration. Don’t worry, I’ll experience that later when I am ready but for now, studies first.

I want to concentrate in my studies first because being a high school student is not easy for all you know especially when you’re studying in this kind of university (University of the Philippines). Some of your lessons in elementary couldn’t be applied in your lessons in high school, sometimes it’s useless that’s why you had to start all over again. At first, you’ll find it hard to catch up but when you study hard it will be easier for you to understand. Projects also were one of the things that will gave you a big pressure but most of all, it’s the test that will go you crazy. But inspite of all these things, when you grew up, you’ll be proud to say that you’d experienced being a high school student because high school life is the best!!…
